Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, local storage, and session storage. Together we refer to these as "cookies" in this policy. They let the site work correctly, measure how it is used, and measure the performance of our advertising.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — sign-in sessions for the client portal and basic security. These cannot be switched off in our systems.
- Functional — session storage that remembers which campaign or page brought you here so your booking is attributed correctly.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 and our own first-party page-view records, used in aggregate to improve the site.
- Advertising — the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, used to measure ad performance and build custom and lookalike audiences.
3. Cookies and identifiers on this site
| Name | Category | Purpose | Typical lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session / auth storage | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in to the client portal and protects form submissions. | Session to 12 months |
| rg_attribution (session storage) | Functional | Remembers the campaign, page and referrer you arrived from so a booking is credited correctly. | Until the browser tab closes |
| _ga, _ga_* | Analytics | Google Analytics 4 — distinguishes visitors and measures page and funnel performance. | Up to 24 months |
| First-party page view record | Analytics | Our own analytics: page path, referrer, UTM values and a random session id. | Stored server-side, up to 12 months |
| _fbp | Advertising | Meta Pixel — attributes conversions and builds custom and lookalike audiences. | Up to 3 months |
| fbclid (URL parameter) | Advertising | Identifies a click from a Meta ad so the resulting booking can be matched to that ad. | Retained with the booking record |
Third parties may set additional cookies of their own — for example when a video is embedded from YouTube, Vimeo or Loom, or when Google Calendar is used to confirm a booking.
4. How to control cookies
- Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break the client portal.
- Manage Meta advertising preferences at Meta Ad Preferences.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Opt out of interest-based advertising at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.com.
5. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the tools we use change. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
6. More information
How we use the data collected through these technologies is explained in our Privacy Policy, and our engagement terms are in our Terms of Service. Questions? Email manasseh@reachgy.com.
